It’s hard to get back to blogging after being away for awhile.
I’m sure I’ve talked about some of that before, at least somewhere along the line. I’ve been blogging since before blogging was blogging, and I’ve said it enough now that the word is looking weird so I should probably just move on, but the point is it’s a difficult process. You think that it’s easy, you think you’ve got all these things you want to talk about, and then you sit down to write and it’s…well, okay. What now?
I really wanted to try BEDA (Blog Every Day in April) because I needed an excuse to get going again. I hit some rough patches (like we often do) and I tried here and there and ended up with a series of “I’m sorry I haven’t been here” posts, which no one really likes. And I’ve wanted to catch everyone up on the amazing, wonderful, fun things I’ve been doing but I’ve also been kind of busy doing those things? And haven’t had time to post?
Which is a lie. A lot of posting time went to video games, or sleeping, or looking at AirBnB on my phone.
Did I mention I’m going back to Romania this summer? I am. I’m thrilled. It’s going to be great. We’ll talk about that soon, when I have more time. (Again with the “there’s always time, there’s never time” paradox.)
Anyway, hopefully we’ll be able to spend some time together over the next few weeks getting to know one another again. I’d love to hear how you are or who’s reading or what’s what, and I’m going to try to keep things switched up enough to keep it interesting. I plan on trying to get back at it over at Headphone Couture, also. So keep an eye (and ear) out over there as well.
It’s always a wild ride, and sometimes I’m in and out, but we can always start over.
The internet is a beautiful thing sometimes, isn’t it?
